Well, Tuscany is probably the most well known Region, for both leisure and weddings. It is easy to understand why... once there, you are surrounded by incredible landscapes, fantastic food and amazing people. You don't need anything else for the best day of your life.
Whether you are planning an elegant destination wedding in Florence or a rustic wedding in Tuscany, you have a lot of options when it comes to venues, from elegant villas and castles to beautiful Italian Agriturismo (Country style wedding venues in Tuscany)
Elegant Villas:
-If your dream is to get married in a Villa, Florence and the surrounding area are the perfect locations for you. One of the most luxurious venue is the 5 star L. Hotel Villa Cora.
It's beautiful halls, together with the elegant park overlooking the Boboli Gardens, are an incredible location for a one of a kind wedding in Italy.
-Thanks to its history, Florence is surrounded by precious villas. One of our favorites is located on the top of the beautiful Florentine hills, close to the center of Florence, but in an oasis of relax. Due to its size, it is perfect for intimate weddings of almost 30 people, and romantic elopements. That's a real gem!

What I love about this elegant wedding venue, despite the amazing garden and the fabulous halls, are the several bedrooms where you can accommodate up to 12 guests. Don't worry, there is also room for the extra guests in a big apartment of the same property located next to the villa.
Stunning Castles
-If you are dreaming of a fairy-tale wedding, you absolutely need a castle. One of the most famous in Tuscany is Castello di Vincigliata.
The wedding ceremony can take place in the beautiful gardens/terraces, while the reception can be held in the picturesque courtyard or in one of its beautiful halls.
Just remember that this stunning location is very popular, therefore you need to reserve it in advance to make sure to get the desired date.
-If Florence is not the only option for your destination wedding and you are open to other Tuscan areas, you can choose between several other castles. The massive fortress of the following pictures is the perfect choice in case you want to accommodate the most of your guests and offer them a quick vacation in the breathtaking area of the Chianti Region. Its warm painted halls would be the best solution for a winter wedding, or even for a rainy day.
