How much does a wedding in Italy cost?
A destination wedding in Italy can be very expensive, but also affordable.
The most important factors are:
-The area where you will get married and the wedding venue you will choose;
-How many guests you will invite;
-Your expectations (if you want a 5 star hotel it will probably be expensive).
There are some exclusive areas in Italy, such as Amalfi Coast and Lake Como, where planning a wedding is quite expensive. Some beautiful wedding venues in Tuscany, Puglia, Umbria, Sicily , instead, are absolutely more affordable.
Remember, that what you will spend for a wedding in Italy for 30 guests will not be the same as planning it with 100 guests, since you will be paying for their meals and probably accommodations.
Ask your Italian wedding planner to work within your budget and to offer you the best services accordingly.

When is the best time for a wedding in Italy?
For a perfect destination wedding in Italy, warmer months are best for alfresco dining, while spring and autumn offer a great balance of weather, scenery, and affordability—especially in regions like Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. However, I recommend avoiding off-season weddings in tourist hotspots like Ravello, Sorrento and Positano, as they lack the lively atmosphere that makes them so special.

The cost of a wedding in Ravello will differ from one in Tuscany or Puglia, but they all have one thing in common—what you choose to include in your wedding budget.
You’re likely envisioning a breathtaking Italian venue, exquisite food and drinks, and beautiful floral arrangements. But have you considered whether your budget also includes your wedding gown and tuxedo? What level of floral decor and light design do you desire? How many bridesmaids will you have, and will their attire, hair, and makeup be covered?
